Boss & Helper Terms of Use
Effective Date: October 25, 2025
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Boss & Helper mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”), operated by Boss & Helper LLC (“Boss & Helper,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, downloading the app, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use Boss & Helper. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
2. Description of the Service
Boss & Helper is a platform that connects “Bosses” (employers or job posters) with “Helpers” (workers or job seekers). The Service provides features including, but not limited to:
- Creating and managing profiles;
- Posting and browsing job opportunities;
- In-app messaging and translations between users;
- Ratings and reviews between Bosses and Helpers;
- Premium features and in-app purchases (such as chat credits, translation credits, and review access).
We are not a party to any employment or service contract between users. We do not hire, manage, or pay workers on behalf of Bosses.
3. Account Registration and Security
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You agree to notify us immediately at support@bossandhelper.com if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations;
- Post misleading, fraudulent, or inaccurate job opportunities or profiles;
- Harass, threaten, abuse, or discriminate against other users;
- Post or transmit any hateful, violent, or sexually explicit content;
- Attempt to scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the operation or security of the Service.
We may, at our sole discretion, suspend or terminate your account if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in harmful behavior.
5. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
5.1 One-Time Purchases
The Service may offer one-time in-app purchases, such as chat credits, translation credits, or single review unlocks. Prices are displayed in the app and may vary by region. All purchases are processed by Apple’s App Store and Google Play, and are subject to their respective terms and conditions.
5.2 Auto-Renewable Subscriptions
Boss & Helper may offer premium subscription plans that auto-renew until cancelled. When you subscribe:
- Your subscription is billed to the payment method associated with your Apple ID or Google Play account.
- Unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, your subscription will automatically renew and your account will be charged for the next period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device account settings:
- iOS: Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions
- Android: Google Play Store > Profile > Payments and subscriptions
- If you cancel, you will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods unless required by law.
5.3 Free Trials
From time to time, we may offer free or discounted trial periods. If you sign up for a trial that converts to a paid subscription, you will be charged at the end of the trial unless you cancel before the trial expires.
6. No Employment Relationship
Boss & Helper is a technology platform only. We do not employ Helpers, and we are not responsible for wages, working conditions, tax reporting, immigration status, or compliance with labor laws. Any agreement reached between a Boss and a Helper is strictly between those parties.
7. Ratings, Reviews, and Content
- Users may rate and review each other. These ratings and reviews are opinions of users, not of Boss & Helper.
- You are solely responsible for any content (including messages, job posts, descriptions, and reviews) that you create or share on the Service.
- By submitting content, you grant Boss & Helper a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, display, and reproduce that content for the purposes of operating and improving the Service.
8. Translations
The Service may provide automatic translations of messages and content using third-party services. These translations are provided for convenience only and may not be perfectly accurate. You are responsible for verifying any information that is important to you.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. You may request deletion of your account following the instructions on our Account Deletion Request page.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if we discontinue the Service.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure;
- We do not guarantee that you will find a job, a worker, or any particular outcome from using the Service;
- We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boss & Helper LLC and its owners, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid for the Service in the past twelve (12) months, or (b) USD $50.
12. Changes to the Service and Terms
We may update or modify the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this page and may provide notice in the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles (you can change this state if you prefer). Any disputes arising out of or relating to the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
